people of south waziristan waite three to four days...................

Peoples of south waziristan are facing great problems at NADRA office TANK(NADRA) is a federal department of the Government of Pakistan that is responsible for issuing identification cards to the citizens of pakistan Located in Political agent compound Tank here as they say the centre remains unable to deliver their Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) and other documents on time. Lack of facilities in political compound tank water is not available people Waite for their number at least three to four days for the process of making national identity cards. This is something really embarrassing and needs the immediate attention of higher authorities, people also complained about the indifferent attitude of the staffers of the office. They said that sometime people have to face great losses due to inordinate delay in the delivery of their B forms and CNICs. Especially Mahsud tribe is facing more problems

we are prepared to stay away for months or even years

Last year displacement in Pakistan is the single largest population movement recorded in the country since it was created in 1947. Under pressure to tackle the militancy which has taken root in the country, the government has launched successive military offensives in the past months across several districts of Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa, federal administrated tribal area including South Waziristan agency. The Pakistan military chief had in February this year declared "victory" in South Waziristan the army chief announced that the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) will start returning homes in April but the IDPs have refused to go back over security concerns, government persuade the elders of Mahsud tribe to return to home along with the tens of thousands of idps. Government started the second phase of registration this registration is just for the identification of the militant and non militants.
I have interviewed some of those idps to be registered. Idps are waiting in a long line under a hot sun.. Some of them said that they are prepared to stay away for months or even years, till they are convinced it is safe to go back. The following is an extract from interview
1.
My name is Humayun I am the resident of Badar South Waziristan. We are living with our relatives in D.I.Khan. The government had once supplied a ration and then left us unnoticed. The A.T.M cards awarded was not too much to solve our problems some times it was not accepted for withdrawal of cash assistance. While returning back we will have to face grave problems like hidden mines, unhygienic atmosphere condition due to use of hazardous arms and ammunitions and erased houses. We are ready to go back and set an example for other to follow but government should bring peace to the affected region for peaceful livelihood. We are appealing our government to provide educational ambience to our people and should construct educational institution. Education is the key to enlighten and socialization and if the government wants a social populace in the affected region, it should follow mechanism of check and balance over educational institution.
2.
My name is sher Rahman I am the resident of sarvaki South Waziristan. We have spent a year I D.I.khan.we are leading here suffocated life because of narrow ever accommodation facilities. It is to our delight that we are backing to our home town but it would be difficult for us to live in damaged houses. The government should help the people by restoring to them their properties and should undertake construction responsibilities for the relief of poor immigrants and especially on education.
3.
My name is Sher Bad Shah I am the resident of Sararogha South Waziristan for a year I am leaving in D.I.Khan.our rehabilitation should be conditioned with the establishment of peace and stability. In the prevailing situation we are facing double animosity. The government forces count every one of us as Taliban or an accomplice of terrorist and the miscreants consider general public as pro government forces so we would turn muddy huts, which we deem paradise for ourselves, but lack of peace, is the only impediment in our way
4.
My name is Asmatullah I am the resident of ladha South Waziristan. We have spent a year in D.I.Khan. government have set 25th of July a deadline for our rehabilitation but it would be better, before returning back, if the government restore hospitals education, health and other major problems. With out peace in wazirisatan we are not happy to go back.
5.
My name is Haji Nakam Khan I am the resident of Zangara .we are suffering through severe hot climatic conditions. We would not leave this place unless complete stability and peace Armed forces of Pakistan have provided us with better management and facilities.
6.
Attaullah I am the resident of kot langar khel ladha South Waziristan. I am here for one year. We are ready to go back to our home town. With out peace we are not able to go back home, we are facing a hot climatic condition and many other problems In D.I.Khan
