D.I. KHAN: JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalu Rehman said Taliban Should not have postponed the "talks offer" as there is still a ray of hope twords betterment though the government is showing sluggish attitude regarding peace talks with the support of the Grand Jirga.He said on Sunday in a Press Conference at his residence in Shor Kot, Dera Ismail khan on the occasion of seat adjustment with Ex.MPA Israrullah Gandapur on Pk-67 of Tehsil Kulachi, who was also present on the occasion.
JUI chief said the next government if comes into power as a result of the general election, will surely be under pressure to continue negotiations with Taliban.
He revealed all the political parties have pledged to extend their unconditional support to the Jirga to conduct the peace talks with the Taliban.
Maulana said, "law and order is the prime issue in the country and the first need of the people of Pakistan is peace. If law and order situation is restored in FATA, it will have positive impact on Baluchistan, Karachi and the rest of the country's situation," He added.
He further said the economy is dependent on peace and in such environment the people will be provided with better education, health and other basic facilities, business activities will be increased and investors will come to the Country if you have complete peace.
JUI Chief went on to say, "we invited the tribal elders of FATA and than constituted a Jirga. It was such a Jirga that was backed by all national leaders of Pakistan both of those parties in government and outside government."
Fazl vowed to continue hi sefforts for the establishment of peace and said he was happy with the decision of the ECP on the matter of caretaker Prime Minister but added that a good tradition was not established that the stockholderscould not agreed upon a single name.
Muallana while talking about the arrival of General (retired) Pervaiz Musharaf said, "it is his own country ,and some one coming to his own home is not something to surprise" Maulan said adding that the whole of the country is burning due to his pro American policies and he should face the music according to the law.
